Brandon,
Saw that whole show; thought someone might have uploaded it to utube.
Yes the wolf on Lab Highway walks just like the one in the vid at Terra Nova and the one I saw up at lake. a coyote looks more "perky" alert, than a wolf, when it walks, the way I see it.

Something else, you guys should compare the way the wolf in the video above walks to the one in this link of a Labrador wolf walking the Trans Labrador Highway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uheax-p0qL0

Identical! Can't believe Mr. Mahoney would say you would need DNA evidence for this.

@mac: I think everyone wants to know who owns the cam and the location of it, but it looks like to be around the same location as the cams in the other videos with the same purpose- for otter research. I certainly would want to find out. There may be just more on the island than everyone thinks, there may be sightings in which they more than likely get confused with coyotes

Who owns this cam and exactly where was it located? Would be nice to get video of a GPS locking up some cordinates in same location to prove where it is. I don't doubt at all that the wolves are back on island! Is it a remote location? Looks like I can fly to it no problem. Looks like lots of water.
Around the 4to 5 second mark he sensed the cam and that seemed to scare him off. Is it on an otter rub I wonder?

@Joey: The journalist who works at the telegram seems to of made a comment on the video saying he hopes to talk to "the hunter", which I assume would be you haha. He also provides contact information for David Saunders to contact him. Something may actually come out of this who knows.

I heard from some people that the wolves were actually lifted from Labrador. They believe they saw the helicopter touch down and release the wolves, not sure if this is true, but it is something to think about it.

When you think about it though, the Newfoundland wolf became extinct around the 1930's. No other wolves were sited for 70 something years until now, if they could cross the pack ice I think they would have done it way before 10 years ago.

Some news already has a hold of it.Had a call from evening telegram and asked me what I thought of it.I then told them about this site and the tracks that mac video taped. Not sure why I got a call but I guess its because of the wolf situation.very interesting stuff...
